The Teachers

Hartley House employs Montessori trained and experienced teaching staff. We have a teacher to child ratio of 1 to 8.

Montessori called her teachers Directress' because we gently
guide and serve the children in
a special way, encouraging independence skills and the
development of each individual
child in a holistic approach.

Our main aim is to make each and every child's first experience away from home a happy and secure one. We would like the child's time in our special Environment to be productive but above all promise that your child will be cherished as an individual and provided with all they need to develop their intellect at their own pace.

All our staff are encouraged to continue to develop professionally and we place emphasis on training with both in house and external training sessions.
