The Parents

At Hartley House parent involvement is encouraged to create a partnership with the Nursery School, providing a positive learning environment:-

• Parents are welcome to come into school and observe their child at work.
  
  
• Each child has an individual programme and we record the child's progress through the curriculum on a daily basis.

• Parent / teacher meetings are held three times a year.
  
  
• We provide a termly newsletter containing information about the school, special events and parent / teacher meetings.

• Birthdays are a simple yet special occasion in a Montessori School. We celebrate with a special game, The Birthday Game. A treat from home is welcome and parents are invited to share this occasion with their child.
